Assistant-Lead Game Design and Level Design

  • A 15-week project realized in collaboration with the Animation, 3D Modeling and Sound Design classes at Campus ADN, The Huntress is a first-person survival-horror game. The player must face the many dangers of an old castle by using their crafting and resource management skills to survive and discover the truth about the protagonist’s family.

Responsibilities as assistant-lead

  • Communication

    I participated in all manners of meetings concerning the Level and Game Design team.

    Morning scrums, evening debriefs, consulting other assistant-leads to make sure the project was on track.

  • Assisting the Level Designers

    I made sure the Level Designers had all the tools they needed to accomplish their individual ideas as well as keeping the common vision in sight.

  • Working with other departments

    I worked with the Animation, 3D modeling, Narration, Scripting and Sound Design teams to ensure that the features designed were doable in a reasonable amount of time and engaging for the player.
